LEXINGTON, Ky. — Many of the players on the University of Kentucky's volleyball team had braced themselves for disappointment as they gathered to watch the NCAA Tournament selection show Sunday at Memorial Coliseum.
After a season of firsts, the Wildcats slumped to the finish line, dropping matches to Arkansas and Cincinnati.
