IU ready to meet the Devils

MACOMB, Ill. -- The Indiana University men's basketball team can stop living in denial now. Last night's 102-79 dismantling of Western Illinois cleared the way.

No more talking in hushed tones and clichéd phrases about facing the No. 1 team in the nation. The No. 20 Hoosiers (3-0) can talk openly about Duke now. The Blue Devils will travel to Bloomington for a 9 p.m. game Wednesday.

Many IU players had the Duke game circled ever since the ACC/Big Ten Challenge matchups were announced last summer.

I will be bold an say that there won't be many cars on the streets during that game. This is not a good game for Dook, as the matchups are very good. Killingsworth vs Williams and IU's guards against Reddick and company. Should be a good game.

This could be a VERY interesting game! I think it will be pretty close and that means a lot of coaching will come into play, and we know what that means!

Hey Bubba out of curiosity how will you be rooting? I will speculate that however it comes out you will be happy and unhappy!! You will take less abuse if Duke wins!

Oh hey I just read that Duke plays Texas on the 10th, I havent seen where it is yet. I just cant see Coach K going on the road and playing someone that good. So it must be in durham or at a neutral site!

I'm rooting for IU of course, Texas, even though they won the Guardian Classic really didn't impress me but Dook hasn't either. Should be a good game between Dook/Texas.

Your point about not being impressed by Texas or Duke is a good one, I think our performance against West Virginia was as good as most I have seen by anyone this year!!

Ahhh yes. One of my favorite photos is the dookies sitting in the locker room in Rupp Arena with the heads hung low, and UK players' names behind them.
If that makes me evil, so be it.

If being happy about Duke and UofL losing or having problems makes us evil then there are a lot of evil people in this state!
