Louisiana back commits to UK

His nickname may be Turtle, but over the last three years he hasn't run like one.

Moncell Allen, a senior-to-be at Holy Cross High School in New Orleans, has verbally committed to the University of Kentucky football team, his coach Barry Wilson confirmed yesterday.

Allen, a 5-foot-9, 228-pound running back, has rushed for 3,362 yards and 50 touchdowns and averaged 6.4 yards a carry during his high school career. Allen has run the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds.

You know turtle isnt exactly the kind of nickname you like to have when you are a running back! Well for that matter I cant think of any position in any sport where the nickname turtle would be something you would cherish!
