The Courier-Journal University of Kentucky men's basketball coach Tubby Smith said the annual tip-off luncheon in Louisville helps get him pumped up for the upcoming season. But Smith doesn't seem to need much more incentive these days. He said yesterday that he really likes the makeup of this season's team, even with the status of center Randolph Morris still in doubt. More..click hereWhen the Tubster's happy I'm happy. I was surprised at the possible starters but it's early yet and time to experiment.

I agree Tubby seems a little extra pumped this year!! You have to get excited about that! I would also say I am kind of surprised about Thomas starting over Sims, BUT remember this is Sims first year in the program.
I can maybe see Sims being a 6th man type not unlike Heishmu Evans this year! Wouldnt that be good! As far as jared Carter that is good to hear coming from Tubby! It wasnt just Tubby who recognized the potentiel, remember Roy Williams wanted him too. So there has to be something there!!
