We have beat them so many times in the past what makes them think that they can build a system that is stronger than UK. Tennessee sucks and always will suck!

Earnie and Bernie would disagree.  That's Earnie Grundfield and Bernard King for the younger crowd(mid seventies). UT has always played us tough regardless whether they were ranked or not. Let's hope his plan doesn't fall into place. |

Pearl will indeed build a better program at UT then what they currently have. BUT, once he does he will be out of there fast. That is a graveyard for mens basketball coaches and will never be anymore then third most important sport at that school!
On a personal note, it kind of sounded to me like he was calling out Kentucky! To which i will respond by saying, you should let sleeping dogs lie! By that I mean it will be harder to sneak up on us this season if Tubby wanted to use this interview!! GO CATS!!! Dominate the vols AGAIN!!!!

How is that any different from every new coach who has come into the SEC over the years? Bottomline, it's not. They've come and they've gone and we're still top of the heap.

It's not like he had to say that to get his gym full when UK plays in Knoxville because UK fills every SEC gym when they roll into town. He's just trying to motivate his team and juice up the fans I guess.

If he wanted to juice everyone up he should hire that big forward that played recently. What was his name? uk9698, you should know that one, he always tried to get his team motivated by prancing around the floor during pregame. He was a very decent player too.
I remembered, it was Ron Slay. Actually I looked it up on the UT board.
