Draymond Green, a 6-7 junior forward from top-ranked Saginaw High, made a verbal commitment to Kentucky on Monday. "He went there (Kentucky) on a visit for the Florida game," Saginaw coach Lou Dawkins said. "He looked at the facilities and liked what he saw. Coach (Tubby) Smith offered Draymond the next day, in person. Draymond came home. Thought it over, waited a week, and made his decision." I've been reading reports on him from some that have seen him and they are very promising. UK and Tubby seem to be picking up the pace a bit and are in the hunt for several recruits right now. GO CATS, find another Mashburn!

I just hope we recruited an athlete, thats not afraid to bang on the inside. Hopefully, he will turn out better than Perry and Thomas.

I'm reading that he is indeed a banger and pretty much all around versatile player (shoots the three/defense etc). we'll soon find out.
