Jerry Tipton/HERALD-LEADER Mississippi will be without its most productive player in Wednesday's game at Kentucky. Center Dwayne Curtis, the Rebels' leading scorer and rebounder, left Oxford yesterday for Chicago to be with his family and attend his younger brother's funeral on Friday. His brother, Jarrod, 20, died Friday night because of complications related to a Jan. 11 car accident. More..click hereI hate to see someone not have one of their good players but with Bradley out of play, maybe it will be a bit more even.

It is very sad to hear about such tragic news. No one should have to deal with the loss of a brother at such a young age. My heart aches for him and his family.
This should help all of us to keep things in their correct priority! We all want to see wins, but never at another's expense. And there are many things in life much more important than basketball. It should only be something that adds to our lives.

As much as I sometimes forget, UK Basketball in the end is just a GAME!!!!!
That type of stuff is REAL LIFE!! Prayers out to him and his family!
