I've lived in my place for 23 years now and this has to be the worst as far as the amount of rain. I have a few low points that I've always had to watch but I had to push mow about 1/4 of my front yard and some selected low points in other spots and still got hung up twice. One was really bad and had to use the truck to pull it out and the other I had to get the wife to steer while I pushed (that's not easy with a zero turn). I'm really glad she learned the rocking technique or the truck would have had to be used again. I wound up not being able to mow about 20% of my yard because of the fear of getting stuck. I knew we were going to get more rain today and as saturated as the ground was, I probably wouldn't be able to get to mow for several days, thus the reason for mowing when it was too wet. I'm definitely not enjoying this spring or at least as far as mowing goes.

Yes, down here in Barren Co. it's been a very wet spring. Have mowed 5 times already. I mowed once yesterday on 4 1/2 and then again right after on 3 1/2 inches height. It just got away from me and there was nothing I could do. Rain again today.
Finally broke down and got a zero turn mower!...don't know why I didn't get one sooner. I have just shy of 2 acres and thought it was worthy of one. I had used a 48" sears craftsman with a kohler engine. I got a 54" deck, a Gravely with a Kawasaki engine. I love it....seems like I'm riding on a tilt -a -whirl when I turn around...it's great and I actually look forward to mowing now...plus the seat is good for my back..the old one hurt my back since it was too straight even after adjustments and trying to rig it up..anyways, I just don't know why I didn't get one sooner.
Same with the new flatscreens we got last October....I just was gonna wait till this old ones blew a tube but never did. So, went out and got some Samsungs and I really don't know what in the world took me so long..it's amazing!
Anyways, got a few weeds coming up so got to spray them down before long...

I've only had to mow 3 times so far and have also sprayed weeds. I'm still working on all those trees I cut too, what a job. As far as flat screens, I can hardly wait until I can get one for my den but my old projection TV is still running strong. I bought a flat screen for the dining room and really like it.
