Normally I'm not much of a holiday person, but this is one I definitely feel everyone should observe by pausing to remember those who have given their all in order that freedom can remain in existence.

A good post Sandman and one that I agree with. Being a veteran, I can relate to all involved that have given their lives protecting our country and also to those that are serving our country today. Being in the military isn't easy even in peacetime, let alone all of the various mini wars the US has taken part of.
