One of the moles had made it to the edge of my front yard and had to be stopped. Luckily I got him. Now for the herd in the back yard.

It's fortunate you have a way to deal with them Bubba. We can't use traps or poison or anything else because of our cats. We live right at the edge of part of the Daniel Boone Nat'l Forest and have to just let all the wildlife have their way. There's so many holes in our yard, I could probably play golf w/o leaving home.

We have an outside cat but I'm not too worried about it getting in the trap. I've used this one trap with some success and I've used some poison as well but not too sure how good it did. I'm going to try a homemade remedy that's supposed to repel them, it's 6 oz of Castor oil, 2 tablespoons of dish detergent mixed with a gallon of water. That's suppose to make a concentrate and you mix one ounce of it with a gallon of water and spray your yard. I haven't been able to try it yet because of too much rain.
