We got close to 5 inches but it's rained a bit and warmed up and the snow is disappearing slowly.

This is the reason I tell people I'm as far north as I'm ever going to be. We had our first snow, if you want to call it that, the other day. It was about 1/2 in. and was only on the yards. If I ever leave Ky., which I doubt, I'm either going west, south or southeast.

I lived in Ohio County most of my younger days (25) and we got some very good snow storms. We even missed the whole month of March my freshmen year because it would snow about every other day and wouldn't warm up enough to melt it.

Winters in Ky. used to be a lot worse than they are now. Back when I was growing up, in the 50's and 60's, we used to get one big snow right after another, and ice storms as well.
