I kind of like this bracket, getting to play in Jacksonville should somewhat thrill a lot of UK fans. Getting to watch some good bball and take a mini vacation at the same time ain't too shabby. Seton Hall shouldn't pose a problem this time around if we play them but you never know. Looks like the team is focusing on one game at a time which is the way to go in my book. looking ahead has hurt many a team. ukathletics.com/news/2019/3/17/mens-basketball-kentucky-selected-for-record-58th-ncaa-tournament.aspx

I'm glad we're playing east of the Mississippi, but I believe the West Regional is the weakest of the four.

To me, it's a toss-up between the East and the west. Duke has pretty much a cake walk to the Elite 8 and not too much competition to get to the Final Four. On the other hand, I've seen several teams play in the West bracket and there are more than a few tough teams in there. I'm not big on Gonzaga like some are but many applaud them for their accomplishments this season. It's also a toss-up which is the strongest between the South and the Midwest. There are several heavy hitters in ours but some should cancel each other out. I think Ole Miss may be a sleeper in the South and give Virginia all they want if they play each other. In our bracket, Seton Hall or Wofford will be a handful and if we make it that far, on paper, Iowa State or Houston will be pretty tough to get by. There are going to be some upsets for sure and I'm just hoping we're not in that group.
