Dich Vitale/ESPN OK, I can hear some fans complaining already this season after Kentucky was upset at home 83-79 by a young North Carolina squad in Saturday's nationally televised contest. When I recently ate at my favorite breakfast place, The Broken Egg in Siesta Key, Fla., two Wildcats fans came up to me and asked what was going on with Kentucky. Come on, are you serious? The Cats lost a basketball game to a school with a rich tradition and a top-notch coach -- hey, the Tar Heels won the national championship last season … that is not a Cupcake City opponent, baby! North Carolina came in and played brilliantly, hitting 10 trifectas and getting solid performances from veterans Reyshawn Terry and David Noel. More..click hereA lot of truth in this article. It's early Cat fans.

Oh I agree there is a lot of truth to it, but I am sure others will say its just someone else making excuses! On a side note Rondo is so upset and unhappy with Tubby that he decided to make the trip to Atlanta to cheer on his team members!!

Wonder why the UNC people didn't know it was just Dec.?
Wonder why Vitale feels the need to make excuses for Tubby?

On a side note Rondo is so upset and unhappy with Tubby that he decided to make the trip to Atlanta to cheer on his team members!! If he truly has strep throat, he should have been at home resting and getting well for Sat. No doctor in the world would tell anyone with strep throat to travel needlessly. Rondo is being disiplined by Tubby and the illness is just a lie to disguise it.

Catbuddy, you have got to have some of the longest arms in the world, to REACH that far with your post!
The part that really surprises me is that I know people who question Tubby's intelligence, his coaching ability, his recruiting, even the way he talks. But you seem to question his integrity. I have heard very few people ever question this mans honesty and integrity. But perhaps that goes with part of the reaching, maybe.

I also dont see it as it being needless to go and support your team members even if you arent available to play!
