Alanta Journal When Michael Perry got the call that Kentucky was interested in playing his Georgia State men's basketball team in Lexington, Ky., he started thinking big. Most coaches would leap at the opportunity to play the Big Blue. But instead of just settling for a road trip, Perry asked for a home-and-home deal. "[UK assistant coach] David [Hobbs] said, 'Let me run that by Tubby [Smith] and let me see what he says,' " Perry said. "He came back and he said, 'You're in good favor because he's looking at possibly doing that.' " That was the genesis of tonight's game pitting Georgia State against Kentucky at Philips Arena.
