The University of Kentucky and its attorney plan a conference call today with the NCAA's Legislative Review and Interpretations Committee that is expected to be the penultimate step in determining the eligibility of sophomore basketball center Randolph Morris. UK and attorney Rick Evrard will argue Morris' case before the committee in an effort to appeal an earlier decision by the NCAA regarding Morris' status. Neither UK nor Evrard spoke about the specifics in the case yesterday, but procedurally this committee has the authority to confirm a ruling by the NCAA or to reverse it, Evrard said. The ruling from the Legislative Review and Interpretations Committee could have a significant impact on Morris' application for reinstatement, which will be the last step in the process. Click Here
