Bubba, you were there. What happened to our offense today? Our defense was fairly non-existent too. We need to figure something out quickly. The next two Saturdays are games that I definitely would hate to lose. I hope that we can re-group. BTW, kudos to Ravi Moss. He played like he wanted to win. Maybe he can instill some intensity in the others.

The team nor the crowd was fired up like they should have been and the team was the flatest I've ever seen them. We just got back from the game and I told 96 that if we didn't get our act together, IU and The Ville would do us in as well. Rondo must have walked the ball up the court 20 times and didn't play like he should have until the last two minutes. Credit UNC, their "D" was much better than ours and their offense gained confidence when we were up 6 and they made that 10 to 2 run and went up 2 points. Not to blame the refs but CBS obviously doesn't like us, mostly Clougherty last year and now Hess. I'm ticked, I wish I had a hotline to Tubby.

It was a good performance for UNC and every chance we had to pull even or take the lead something always happened, their offensive rebounds, we threw the ball away, borderline call went against us, loose ball we didnt get.
We need a post up presence, so lets all keep our fingers crossed that Morris comes back! It also would have helped to have Crawford. But bottom line is UNC deserved to win. Lets hope we learn from it and move on. Hoepfully we can take Georgia State. IU will be a war and Rick will emberass us if we play like we did today, but I dont think that we will!

What is wrong with our crowd? I saw people just sitting on their hands when the team really needed their support. Sometimes, I wish the tickets would be awarded to the best fans, and not the people who have money to buy season tickets. Or, at least, let the students in the lower section. It's getting really old watching other teams' fans rocking their gyms and our fans acting like they are watching a play. I cheer more than some of these people from my sofa.

It is a travesty that the blue-hair crowd dominate the seats closest to the floor. Anytime in the second half that UNC was shooting free throws you would have thought it was us it was so quiet! It is a tribute to the students and hard-core fans that do create the excitement in that building.

I was at the game myself. I was trying to stand and cheer. I actually thought that the people behind me were thinking, " I wish this guy would sit down. " I felt like I was the only fan in my section that was trying to get the team fired up.

I agree sometimes also catmancando, sometimes some of the people make you think you are doing something wrong by acting like a fan!

UNC's freshmen came in and took the game stright to us. Everybody thought it was going to be an easy win over a hated rival. Tubbyball kept that from happening.

Please don't ever be ashamed to stand up and cheer for your team. Believe me, I don't care if the Pope is sitting behind me. I will be cheering. You are true fans. Don't forget that. When my Cats are down, I cheer even louder for them. And, I never boo them. That is wrong.

UK9698, what's the worst thing that could happen? Maybe get thrown down the Rupp stairs. Let the minister note that I died cheering on the Big Blue.

You have a good point and Saturday i was subjected to a moron behind me cussing and ranting and raving at every player over everythig in the world! I am setting there wishing that one of the players fathers would have been around to stick his fist in that guys mouth! Everyone was frustrated about the game, but the name calling and sucks word for these 18-22 year old kids is MUCH TOO MUCH!!
