No offense catbuddy, but I had to post this. www.coolnurse.com/strep.htmYou see in my job I work with nurses and to a lesser degree doctors all day long 5 days a week. In addition, I have a 6 year old who had strep throat the week before Thanksgiving. I was at the doctors office with him and once it was diagnosed by the new rapid strep test and after you begin treatment, you are no longer contagious after 24 hours. They allow you to go back into the public schools even at that point, because he was given an excuse covering 48 hours. That is per the Pediatric Care Center at University of Kentucky Medical Center! I actually have asked both a nurse and a doctor this morning and they verified the same thing that I just pointed out. The doctor said that while rondo shouldn't have played having just been diagnosed on Sunday he posed no danger to himself or his team members being at the game! So the posts that tell you cant even find out that you have strep throat for 5 days are factually incorrect. As well as the posts that say that no doctor would allow you to travel within 48 hours of being diagnosed and treated, is also factually incorrect. This of course doesn't prove that Rondo has strep throat. However it does make the Tubby/Rondo conspiracy theory backers have to work a little harder and move a different direction to support their theory. GO CATS!!!

Mine was more a statement on Tubby than Rondo. Maybe Tubby read this article, too.
