It's being said he's looking around now but that seems strange after getting Tubby and his coaches to watch him in a tryout and Tubby being impressed. What more weird stuff can happen?  |

First he doesn’t feel he is ready to play college ball, then when Tubby shows confidence in him with a scholarship offer, and after he is greatly impressed by both Tubby and the players during his visit, he hesitates and decides that perhaps he had better make sure before committing, by requesting Tubby travel to NY to verify his capabilities. When Tubby responds and states that he is even more impressed seeing him in person, Tyrone suddenly decides it might be prudent to wait and maybe do some shopping first. Go figure.
It seems like Tyrone may have a very immature side to him that has been exposed. Or, perhaps he just has a negative view of Kentucky. What ever reason, his hesitation is making me wonder if he’ll ever be a Wildcat.

Maybe he was just doing this for the exposure, and had no intentions of coming to U.K. He was sort of off the radar after being injured and all. And, we do have scholarships open.
I just don't get it. But, he is still a kid.

If it does happen and now I don't think it will either, he has lost a bit of luster in my book. First he's going to prep because noone big wants him and then UK (A BIGGIE) offers him and now he thinks he better shop around. Sheech. |
