There are dominating programs in sports, and then there’s the UK Cheerleading program. While the men’s basketball team may be the most renowned at UK, the cheerleading team is the most successful. The Cats won their 17th national championship on Sunday night in Orlando, Fla. It is the Cats’ 13th championship in the last 15 years, which is something that head coach Jomo Thompson doesn’t get tired of. “It’s great to bring home another one,” Thompson said. “It was probably one of the best routines we’ve done in a long time as far as execution goes, so it was really just great kykernel.com/2009/01/19/a-continuation-of-dominance/Kudos to our world class cheer leading squad, they're like the energizer bunny and just keep on going and going and going and going. It's totally mind boggling the dominance that they've been able to maintain over the years.
