I sort of quit following the team a few weeks ago. As a result, I missed some good games, especially the tournament this past weekend.

I know, I've been so busy I had completely forgotten about the upcoming playoffs. The girls play with much heart and have so much fun with each other. I wish men could enjoy their sports as much but it seems we are too macho for that kind of stuff.

I think a lot of the players on the men's teams, especially basketball, football and baseball, are so focused on trying to make the pro teams that they put too much pressure on themselves.

I don't disagree with what you say, it just seems to me that the men have this macho thing that doesn't allow as much showing of enjoyment. It was really that way in the 60s when I played, you didn't jump up and down or do some of the things players do nowadays (more in college today than high school) When you made a great pass or basket, you just got back on defense with little or no emotion. The guys just try to act like it's no big thing to make a great catch in baseball or pass in bball.
