The rain has passed finally and temps are gradually returning to normal. Three nights of freeze warnings in the middle of April is not what a person wants to hear. I'm ready to begin sweating when I walk outside.

I mowed yesterday 1 hour before it started sprinkling. It was supposed to ain but our weather people up here are useless uless something severe is happening, kind of like our doctors. Anyway, it's beginning to look like spring is getting ready to bust open. Me and the wife are going mushroom hunting tomprrow ... wish me good luck. We were going to go today (Tuesday) but it was still a bit nippy. I'm trying my best not to catch a summer cold or worse the flu. I guess worse would be catching COV19.

We found 40 and ran across the son of my friend that was letting us hunt there and he said that he is the owner now and that we can't hunt there anymore. I guess we will be buying our mushrooms from now on if we want them.
