Olivier Sarr, a transfer from Wake Forest, has committed to Kentucky. The 7-0, 255 pound big man averaged 13.7 points, 9 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks last season with a season-high 30 points and 17 rebounds against Notre Dame. He also went for 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks in an overtime win against Duke.
Sarr will now apply for a waiver from the NCAA to try to become immediately eligible for the 2020-21 season and avoid having to sit out a year, so getting him for next season isn’t a done deal just yet.
