Vandy played us tough and most of us knew there would probably be a letdown after beating Kansas like we did. I've seen the same thing with other teams and wasn't surprised. The good thing was that it was a win and that means a lot in SEC play unless you listen to ESPN. I give credit to Vandy for playing tough but our guys gutted it out and came up with the win. GO CATS!

For as long as I can remember (which isn't very long these days) Vandy seems to have been, and still is, a scrappy team. They don't always have a good team but, when you play them, you usually know you've been in a game.

I totally agree Sandman and was remarking to the wife about when Nazr made a last second layup at the buzzer to win at Vandy and UK were Champions that year (98). Any team can rise above their level and beat a top ranked team any given night.
