I'm sure Juwan Howard is wishing he never struck Wisconsin's assistant coach, this is not going to sit well with anyone. I'm pretty much with what one of the sports guy said about doing away with the handshake line, who wants to shake the hand of someone who just beat you anyway.

In my opinion, Howard should be suspended for the remainder of the season, including post season play. That sends a terrible message to the young men he's responsible for. As for the handshake, I agree with you 100%, Bubba. I grew up, participating in sports, in a time when if you beat someone you just walked away. If you grinned at them you very well might have had a fight on your hands. I don't remember if it was written or unwritten but, back in the day, the NFL had a no fraternizing rule. If you had a former college teammate, or even a relative, on the opposing team you couldn't go over and talk to them.

Same here Sandman, handshakes should be done away with period. I'm also ready for the toss-ups to be done away with, the refs can't even toss it right most of the time and sometimes a guys steals one by tipping it on the way up that doesn't get called half the time. The rules committee is considering changing that. I'll tell you one of my pet peeves that doesn't have anything to do with the rules is slapping a free-throw shooter's hand after a free-throw, a total waste of energy to me and even after a miss, I get it but don't like it.
