It's football time in the Bluegrass as the Cats kickoff their season against the Redhawks. There are several new starters for the Cats, so it'll be interesting to see how they perform. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. E.S.T. No tv, streaming only.

The Cats prevailed amid some serious concerns. Without the power running of Rodriguez the running game was practically non-existent. Also, the oline has a lot of work to do and not a lot of time in which to do it. The Cats travel to Gainsville next for a big SEC East game.

I also thought Ohio played tough as well. A very good warmup game for Florida.

I dread the Fl. game for a number of reasons, but mostly because of their QB. He's a good runner and passer. This type of QB has, historically, given the Cats fits. We'll see.
