The Cats could have easily have won this one. too bad it wasn't in Lexington. A very hostile environment. I imagine some fans will be calling for Stoops' head.

I don't know what the problem(s) is/are but if next season is anything like this one, about all of the gains we've made under coach Stoops will be lost. As I've previously stated, I've been a fan since 1954 and this is about as disappointed as I can ever remember being. We have a stellar class committed for 2024 and I'm afraid this is going to cause some of them to jump ship.

I feel the same, either our talent needs beefing up and coaches doing a better job or more than hell will be raised. I've been disappointed as well but am somewhat a forgiving type guy. I do have my limit of tolerability though.

The fans are going crazy on "X". They make it sound as if something big is coming down. You know how fans are though, they say what they want to happen as if it's factual, not what probably will happen. The only way I see coach Stoops leaving any time soon is if he takes a job at another school.

Being a coach of just about any sport at Kentucky is always going to be a tough job, some can handle the heat and some can't. As we have heard, coaching at Kentucky isn't for everyone. I said that wrong but it applies to coaching as well as athletes. Stoops will leave like you said (another school) or maybe if he under achieves for a couple of seasons. Time will tell.

He's kind of like Cal in that he's got, in my opinion, a contract that should never have been given. I can't see him leaving on his own because this season and last have messed his resume up so badly I don't know who would want him. I do expect a major roster shake-up due to players transferring out.

Time will tell about what happens next. BTW, I'm going to have to proof read my headers/titles and posts more closely, I'm probably coming of like a country bumpkin but it's because of my macular that's causing the spelling mistakes.
