Saint Joseph's forward Dwayne Jones will seek reinstatement for his senior season after going undrafted Tuesday night, Hawks coach Phil Martelli told ESPN.com Thursday.
Under NCAA rules, Jones has 30 days to be reinstated from the time of the draft by sending a letter to his athletic director. Martelli said Jones worked out for nine teams. Jones has to prove he paid for his expenses in advance. If he didn't then he will be subject to sitting games next season. Mississippi State senior Lawrence Roberts had to sit the first game of the 2004-05 season because of this rule.
Martelli said Jones didn't sign with an agent.
