NEW YORK --- The University of Louisville men's basketball team has been picked to finish sixth in the Big East Conference this season by a poll of the league's head coaches. Pittsburgh was chosen as the preseason favorite, earning 10 of 16 first-place votes. The Panthers, who finished 25-8 last season, return center Aaron Gray, who was voted as the preseason Player of the Year today. Actually after their performance last year, 6th seems pretty good to me for them. That conference is unbelievable and honestly i am glad we are not in it!

Pitino wanted to play in and around New York and smooze with his bud Boeheim, his dreams are fulfilled. I don't think he thought that the Big East would continue to be as tough as it is.

You have to be careful what you wish for, on getting into the big east, because you might actually get more then what you bargain for.
