"I was not in the bathroom when it happened, so I can't say a rape occurred -- and I never will," Roberts told The Associated Press on Thursday in her first on-the-record interview. "In all honesty, I think they're guilty," she said. "And I can't say which ones are guilty ... but somebody did something besides underage drinking. That's my honest-to-God impression." More..click hereI'm wondering if this will help or hurt the defense's case.

I think that there has to be some kind of strong evidence for these guys to be arrested, even though there were no DNA matches. I remember hearing that one of them had been charged with assault before. Apparently, there is no lovefest between the university and the city of Durham. Let me just say that I am soooooo glad that this didn't happen in Lexington. But, I hope that justice is served no matter who is guilty or not guilty.

There must be some kind of code that says, "let's scrutinize the home town athletes a bit closer than the rest" As you said, let justice be served regardless of the outcome.
