Talk about funny

I was talking hoops with an Illinois diehard at work yesterday and jokingly asked him what his thoughts were about his coach getting an extension that's been reported. It's obvious he will with the record he's recorded the last three years. I mis said his coach's name and said Painter and he looked at me puzzled because I had said, what do you think about Painter getting a contract extension? A pretty sure thing huh? Painter is Purdue's coach BTW, hence the reason for the puzzled look. The funny thing is, and I'm talking to an Illinois diehard mind you, when I had realized I had said the wrong name and asked him what his coach's name was, he couldn't remember himself. His face flushed and it took him every bit of two to three minutes to come up with the name. Wow!

I wish you all could have seen his face, it was flushed. This is the same guy that's strutting around loving it that his team is going undefeated during the season and only losing 2 games that year. It was priceless but I really like the guy so no unnecessary roughness was applied.
