My thoughts on this situation is, why quit or if being forced to quit, why force a coach to quit with so many games left and a league tourney as well. To me, this doesn't look well for the AD or school president. What are your thoughts on the matter?

I agree. Only in a rare circumstance is resigning in the middle of the season good thing for anyone involved!
On a side note. I am sure there is a job waiting on him at Duke!

Maybe, coach K is picky you know. I'm not sure he would welcome this prodigal son.
