LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Miami started the day by stomping on the Louisville Cardinal logo in the middle of field. That might be that last sign of swagger the Hurricanes show for a while. Three hours later, it was the Louisville fans on the field after one of the biggest wins in school history. No. 12 Louisville dominated No. 17 Miami 31-7 on Saturday, gaining the signature win it's been searching for under coach Bobby Petrino even as the Cardinals (3-0) lost another Heisman Trophy hopeful to injury. Quarterback Brian Brohm dislocated the thumb on his right (throwing) hand in the third quarter and will miss three to six weeks. He threw for 181 yards and a touchdown before giving way to backup quarterback Hunter Cantwell, who finished off the Hurricanes with 113 yards and a touchdowns pass . Yeah, that is tough! It seems that they are losing a key player in every game now. Like you said, don't let it come to Lexington! And, even though some of their fans are very obnoxious, I have to admit that Louisville has a very good football team this year. And, they are working on having a good program.

UofL made a statement with this convincing victory! Their program has arrived and it makes us look a lot better that we havent been the only one thrashed by them!
What a big thurs game it will be when West Virginia comes to Louisville on November 2nd! Maybe a shot at a national championship will be on the line? I wonder if Brohm will be back by then?

I will admit that UL has a very good team and if not for the loss of Bush and Brohm, they would be in the run for a national title game.
