CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Bruce Weber, who led Illinois to a No. 1 ranking and its first national championship game, was given a two-year contract extension Thursday. The new deal gives him a $150,000 raise, a $100,000 signing bonus and deferred compensation that could exceed $1.1 million. More..click hereBig bucks and now the guy has to earn it. I posted this because until last year when the Nois were so good, the Nois fans at work were still morning over losing Self and that's all they could talk about. No mention of whether Weber was any good or nothing. My how times change. I kinda got tired of hearing them all season long and finally told this one guy that the Nois would go back to being an average team again like they normally were. Aren't I mean?
