PHOENIX -- Rick Majerus has met with Arizona State's athletic director about the Sun Devils' coaching job.
A person familiar with the meeting confirmed Tuesday that Lisa Love met this week with Majerus in Milwaukee, where the former Utah coach lives.
In December 2004, Majerus accepted the job at Southern California but resigned five days later, saying he was "not fit enough for this job from my standards."
Love was a USC athletics administrator at the time.

Lisa Love is still after her fav coach and maybe has snagged him this time. It's said to be a done deal by some if he passes a physical. It almost seems like Majerus is searching for a team with a healthier climate. He took the USC job but wasn't well enough at the time but and had to back out. It will be good to see Rick on the sidelines again. I will miss him doing games though, he was a good color man and spoke his mind.
