NEW YORK — This was supposed to be different. This was supposed to be the time the University of Louisville exorcised its Madison Square Garden demons and showed the Big Apple how a good college basketball team plays. Instead, the Cardinals added another chapter to their Garden woes as defending National Invitation Tournament champion South Carolina turned the NIT semifinal into a Dunkathon and rolled to a 78-63 victory that was every bit as embarrassing for U of L as its first two trips here this season.
