UT is tough but hard to beat a quality team like the Tigers at home.
Who is that one announcer that sounds like a poor mans Al McGuire. I've heard him before but never have seen him. He gets on my nerves.
They just said Brian Curtis or Pete Gillen. It must have been Gillen because he said he was a coach. I've had email conversations with Brian Curtis before.

Tennessee is much improved and plays hard, but not always smart. It will be two wars with them, count on it!

I sure wouldn't mind having that Lofton, he's a tough shooter. And yes, we will have to play our best games to win.

They just showed the two announcers doing a recap, it was Gillan. What a motor mouth.

Don't say anything bad about Al McGuire. I'll hurt you. Tennessee is tough this year. They gave Memphis all they wanted. It was a good game. Where did that Bradshaw kid come from? It is going to be very tough to beat them in Knoxville. The place will be rockin. Heck, it's going to be tough to beat them in Rupp. I want to beat them and shut Bruce Pearl up. In the past, I probably would have rooted for TN. against Memphis (being that they are an SEC school), but lately they are talking too much trash.

I agree Trueblue. I dislike Pearl already and haven't even played them yet! He is a motor mouth!
On a side note i wonder how long Pearl will be at Tennessee? I am betting he gets some offers even at the end of this year.

I don't know how long that Mrs. Pearl will want to be there. Apparently, she is not that fond of the South, or maybe it's just Kentucky that she doesn't like. I have been to Knoxville many times. Oh yeah, there's a cultural mecca for ya. Since he is at a larger division 1 school, maybe he considers that it could be a stepping stone to someplace better. I'd bet that TN. didn't sign him to a long-term contract, but I could be wrong.

Yea Knoxville isn't exactly Chicago or whatever it is she was wanting!
Tennessee isn't famous for keeping their men's coaches very happy and to be honest they have a habit of having not so great disciplinarians take over there, see Jerry Green.
With Mr. Pearl's attitude and ego I would be very surprised if he hung around there for long. I am sure he has bigger goals and hopes then being in Knoxville, Tennessee for very long!

Don't say anything bad about Al McGuire. I'll hurt you. I always liked McGuire, he was fun to listen to. Gillen sounds like a gangster.
