INDIANAPOLIS --The rule allowing a player to call timeout while airborne or falling out of bounds might be eliminated for both men's and women's college teams this season. More..click hereI think this would eliminate possible injuries but most of all, remove the possibility of favoritism from refs. You know what I mean Vern? It mentions a few more things I'm not quite sure about (20.6 ft 3 point line for women? nah).

I think this is a good thing. I think it doesn't reward good defense by letting them call a time-out. I wish they would do away with alternate possession rule too. Let them jump it up. I realize that there may be definite disadvantages there. But, I still feel that defense can be rewarded. Yeah, I know what you mean Ernest

This would be great if they would do it. Which means, they probably will not!

I'm not 100% sure what they mean about the foul lane? Do they want to have only four players at the side lines and do away with the ones next to the shooter? I do think the guy blocking out the shooter gets a little carried away sometimes but the refs are letting them get away with it. Just like letting guys crash the lane early during a free throw and not calling it. I would like the ball to be tossed up when tied up too if the refs could do it right and also know when to call a player for stealing the toss on the way up. Too many lax situations by the refs in a lot of areas if you ask me.
