TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona guard Jawann McClellan had season-ending surgery Thursday to repair a ligament in his left wrist.
The operation, announced minutes before the Wildcats' game against Stanford, removed a guard from the roster for the second time in two days. Chris Rodgers, who started 13 of 16 games, was dismissed from the squad Wednesday.

A lot of teams (including UK) are getting hurt by injuries but to dismiss a guard and then lose another has got to hurt. Stanford liked it.
