It would have meant a championship team for them but they are still going to do pretty good and will give UK fits this coming season.

Bubba with all due respect I think you are giving them a little bit to much credit. I will reassure you with the same quote I always do. As long as we have Tubby Smith and IU has Mike Davis we will never lose to IU! I been saying it now for 4 or 5 years and I will contiue to say it as long as both coaches are in place!

They have some good returning players, those two Auburn boys and a decent recruiting class. And Bracey "I'll take the shot" Wright is gone. I feel it will be a close game.

I'm wondering if some recruits (including the Auburn boys) are going to IU because of Davis' pro style offense?

You may be right about that. But regardless of what offense he runs I think he is REALLY in trouble without a VERY good season this coming year! I wonder if that played into Odens decision at all, the security of Davis actually being there?

That's been the talk on the IU board (peegs.com if your interested) that he was give an ultimatum whick caused Oden to go to OU.
