Alexis Bwenge and Raymond Fontaine came to the University of Kentucky in 2001 seemingly joined at the hip.
After splitting time with Rock Johnson at fullback the past two years, Bwenge is now the clear-cut No. 1, and UK Coach Rich Brooks said Bwenge could also see time at tailback.
Fontaine will be looked upon to provide leadership for a young group of linebackers.
The two players hope that their growth and maturity off the field will help turn things around for the Cats in 2005.
