Ole Miss is not any better then we are, but dominated the game. Don't let the score fool you, it wasnt that close.
We had 46 total yards and 2 first downs in the first half!
We had two wasted timeouts, in the first half due to having 12 men on the field!
Ole Miss missed 4 field goals and dropped several wide open passes when they played the whole half in our territory!
A lot more things that I think deserves talking about in their own post to come later this evening!
The bottom line is we lose again to a team that we are probably better then. We should win one of the games sooner or later where talent is even. Oooops, probabably not because more often then not when talent is even it comes down to coaching!! We are in trouble there!

I think the thing that bothers me more then the thought of us retaining Brooks is this. I have no doubt that we will win a game or two more next year then this year, but at that pace how long before we are even in MINOR bowl contention. But here is the kicker that bothers me the most!
Everyone out in college football will see what this "MESS" has become and will say the standards are SO LOW at UK they accept anything rather then throw their hands in the air and say something isnt working! If we go on like this for another year or two it WILL be said because there are a lot of people thinking and saying it now! So what does that do for the program and for recruiting?

I can't disagree with you on the fact UK looks bad but there are reasons besides Brooks as we have discussed in past posts. Got that hammer ready?

I wish that I truly could believe that the injuries would be enough of a reason to give Brooks another year. Simply because in a best case scenario it isnt best to change coaches again. Unfortunately I dont have the belief in my mind and heart that he is going to make things better and this certainly isnt a best case scenario!

I think most feel a younger more energetic coach would do better. Barnhart should get a hint surely.

Bubba, I couldnt AGREE more with your last post! For good or bad most of the time a team takes on the personality of its coach and in this case it simply isnt a good thing!
