Now that Kentucky is officially practicing in secret to make sure rival Louisville doesn't know what to expect when the two teams open the season Sept. 4, one can only wonder what kind of tricks new offensive coordinator Joker Phillips might have in mind. It probably will not be anything nearly as elaborate as that creative play UK used two years ago when it put 300-pound quarterback Jared Lorenzen at wide receiver. That move didn't confuse the Louisville defense as much as it baffled the UK faithful who thought Lorenzen was just a tad bit better throwing the ball than he was running 20-yard routes or blocking. Yea I will never forget that absolute stroke of genius of putting Lorenzen out in a receiver position. Lets hope if something like that is the best trick we have our sleeve for this years game, that we keep them up our sleeve!
On a positive and hopeful note Bubba, I so much hope you are correct and we play UofL off their feet in this years game! I am already tired of hearing the Cards fans run their mouth. Unfortunately there isnt much we can say to them because they have dominated us as of late!
On an honest and realistic note Bubba, are you taking wagers on that game by the way? hahaha
