In the overall scheme, Kentucky's 13-7 victory over Mississippi State last night probably isn't going to change any minds.
If you entered Commonwealth Stadium on Empty-Seat Night (announced crowd of 55,163) thinking Kentucky football needs a change in direction, a sputtering victory over a bad team isn't gonna change your mind.
Conversely, if you have always believed that, out of fairness, Rich Brooks deserves more than three years in a program crippled by the effects of both probation and a plague of injuries, well, at least your man now has six wins over Division I-A opponents to show for his almost three seasons in Lexington.
