LEXINGTON, Ky. -- University of Kentucky reserve quarterback Joe Joe Brown has been charged with fourth-degree assault for allegedly punching a 20-year-old woman in the face.
Brooke Fugate, a student at Murray State, filed a sworn complaint last week with the Fayette County attorney's office stating that Brown poured beer on her and punched her at a party in Lexington on July 22. She told police that she suffered pain and swelling from the altercation.
