LEXINGTON, Ky. — The sign outside Wildcat Wearhouse proclaims UK-U of L T-shirts are now available. You cannot miss it as you drive south on Broadway here.

But you can disregard it.

"As far as sales go, people are not supporting the team," general manager Missy Harper said of her experience with University of Kentucky fans this preseason. "Normally, we get a huge rush with students coming in and the season about to begin. This year, we just haven't seen it so far. We're two weeks past due."
