The Sept 17th game in Bloomington is the last game currently on contract between UK and IU. I remember last year reading an article that this game was stopped by Mitch Barnhart and Rich Brooks to try and bring some variety to our schedule. Who will we bring on USC? Oklahoma? Ohio State? Miami? I suppose we have advanced far enough in our program to drop a team off of our schedule who we have beaten 9 out of the last 10 years!

Maybe IU wants out of it?

From everything I remember reading about a year ago it was UK who wanted out of the series. They thought with the UofL game and all the conference games they were tied down with too many big or rivalry games.
