I have to admit I am not crazy about fighting the mid 90 temperatures on Saturday but it could be interesting to see the CATS up close! One has to wonder if this might be Rich Brooks final fan day? Only time will tell on that one. I think if Brooks finds a way to win 4 or 5 games he keeps his job. Now in all honesty, I dont see more then 3 wins at best this year. If that is the case it might be kind of interesting by the end of the year on the UK campus!

If you go, please give us a full report on the day. I have to work today. I am going to be optimistic about our team this year. Like you said, time will tell.

Trueblue, I wish that I could be optimistic but I havent seen anything from this coaching staff and in particular our leader to warrant being positive about! No one wants a football winner more then I do, but I just dont see it happenning in its current state.
I suppose my optimsitic thought can be this I basically expect nothing this year. 2 or 3 wins maybe so anything above that would be a thrill to me and a surprise so that could be my optimism.
I really do not mean to sound so pessimistic but its hard not to be. My wife gets on me all the time about the way I look at things. She says I can always manage to take the very worst or most negative thing about the basketball team and turn it into a positive. But you can take the very best or most positive thing about the football team and turn it into a negative. To a certain extent she is right. But it comes from 30 plus years of following both teams and knowing how things alway seem to work out!
