OXFORD, Miss. - In one of the most important dates for the Rich Brooks re-Election Campaign, the incumbent's chances took a direct hit yesterday, losing the important Mississippi primary.
Turnout was low, just 48,457 bothering to show up on a sunny day to see the host Ole Miss Rebels win their first SEC game of the year. More important, Kentucky's 13-7 loss dropped the Cats to 1-5 overall and 0-3 in the conference.
