It's no big secret that the Kentucky football team, particularly Coach Rich Brooks, needs all the wins it can get. But the opportunities are slowly slipping away. Indiana was thought to be a winnable game before the season, but the Hoosiers tattooed the Cats 38-14. South Carolina and Steve Spurrier were thought to be vulnerable, but UK played itself out of the game with turnovers and fell 44-16. Ole Miss struggles offensively and still is trying to feel its way through the first year of the Ed Orgeron regime, but the Wildcats never could make that one big play offensively or defensively and lost 13-7.
