Everything seems easy when you win five straight state titles like Chuck Smith did at Boyle County. If only coaching one of the country's youngest linebacking corps were so simple.
Smith still is priming UK's green linebackers.
He sees the speed and athleticism of freshmen such as Braxton Kelley, Mikhail Mabry and Johnny Williams when they beat a Wildcat running back to the corner or chase down a receiver or tight end from behind.
"That's when you get excited," Smith said.
